Manav Rachna presents Avlokan, a film festival for those with a shared love for cinema. Organized by the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication (SMeH) and Media Shala (CFMC) this two-day fiesta promises to be a seamless convergence of the film community. Avlokan 2025 aims to empower individuals with the belief that everyone possesses the ability to tell compelling stories with the right nurturing.
NCR’s biggest 2 day festival aims to provide a dynamic platform for emerging filmmakers to exhibit their cinematic skill, with a particular emphasis on the art of filmmaking. The festival is set to unfold across Manav Rachna campus, uniting a diverse array of industry experts and aspiring filmmakers, making Avlokan a pioneering film event in Delhi NCR. This year the festival will be open to high schoolers as well in a special category.

The Manav Rachna Centre For Media and Communication (CFMC) Media Shala is a pioneering media literacy space nurturing creativity and fundamental skills for navigating the ever-evolving digital landscape. The Centre is the brainchild of Dr Prashant Bhalla & Dr Amit Bhalla’s constant quest to enrich and empower the Manav Rachna community to become future ready. At CFMC we understand the competencies required and to cater to this need we deliver holistic media education that fosters creativity and imparts the fundamental skills required to navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape. CFMC Media Shala’s mission is to be the beacon of comprehensive media literacy, enabling individuals to harness media to meet their unique needs. To ensure learning in the most advanced & a futuristic technology backed environment, CFMC runs a state-of-the-art studio with hi end cameras, high performance PCs, graphics cards & tablets, professional studio lights along with a Production Control Room and a news studio & chroma setup - each of these curated to give our students an immersive experience, where they learn by doing. The team comprises of enthusiastic and seasoned industry experts from the broadcast industry as well as advertising & marketing.
